Serbian First Responders are a network of volunteers who never look away when someone is in trouble – we respond quickly, calmly, and with solidarity in critical moments. Through unity, knowledge, and dedication, we strengthen the culture of mutual support and build a society where kindness comes before reward.

We, voluntarily organized citizens, accepting the provisions of the Statute of the Association of Serbian First Responders, adopt this Charter and solemnly confirm:

  1. The willingness not to turn our heads away from a neighbor who is in life-threatening danger and to actively provide rapid assistance in every situation when it is necessary to react quickly between the occurrence of a critical event and access to professional emergency services;
  2. The strength to resist extreme individualism and modern alienation that deny participation in the common good, which represents the foundation of the value system of Serbian First Responders;
  3. Consistency in cultivating the virtue of sacrifice in prompt support of public services and sister organizations in carrying out their mission;
  4. The desire to put our professional potential into the function of transferring knowledge and experience in providing rapid assistance to all members of the Association.
  5. to achieve a strong impact on the development of civic awareness about the need to express compassion and solidarity with vulnerable people and take rapid action to mitigate and eliminate the consequences of endangerment through the massiveness of the Serbian First Responders network ;
  6. The quality of volunteerism by accepting this engagement and setting a positive example in the wider public through establishing and nurturing a culture of mutual support among citizens and neighbors;
  7. Content through the nurturing of Christian values that have been inherited in this region, as part of the general national ethos, for more than 8 centuries, while simultaneously being completely open to people of all religious affiliations who want to be part of the system of rapid support for those in need and who foster the principles of humanity and solidarity;
  8. Kindness, not reward, is our motivator.
  9. Our presence in critical moments, through humble service to another person in need, gives comfort in the loneliness of unexpected misfortune , to a neighbor who expects support and help.
  10. Our willingness to face every challenge is supported by clear rules contained in the legal obligation of every citizen to provide assistance to a person in need.
